Maybe you've been wanting to have some friends over to catch up, or you love entertaining. Perhaps you even have a group of great friends who all love dessert (and making it).
No matter who your friends are and what reasons you may have to party with them, you must agree that few things are better than spending time with great people who understand you—except maybe chocolate; or perhaps socializing with friends while eating chocolate. But what about making chocolate with your friends?
That’s right: knowing how to make your own chocolate truffles--at home, from scratch. Surely you could use this knowledge in the future to impress family, friends, and acquaintances with truly unique homemade treats.
If making chocolates while spending time with friends sounds like a perfect pairing, then a truffle party is for you. I'll guide you and your pals through an evening of delightful chat, delicate work, and decadent tastes.
As a personal chef, I know all of the ins-and-outs of making a perfect dessert. After a just a couple of hours in the kitchen with me and a small group of your friends, you, too, will be able to chop, melt, roll, and decorate your way to truffle-making greatness.
Whatever the occasion that spurs your decision to schedule your truffle party, all you have to do is coordinate with your friend to choose a couple of potential dates to get together and learn how to make some truffles.
You and I will work with together to plan the event--including the kinds of ingredients we will work with and the types of truffles we will make--and I will bring the ingredients and truffle-making tools. On the day of the truffle-making party, all you and your friends have to do is show up.
I'll teach your group how to select good ingredients for making your own truffles. Then we'll prepare our chocolate and additions, such as fruit, different kinds of chocolate, cocoa nibs, and nuts. After rolling out the truffles, we'll make them look just as beautiful as they taste delicious.
Throughout the evening's instruction, you will of course have a chance to chat and unwind with the group, sharing your latest gossip and news as we make edible art out of the chocolate. You get to eat what you make, and you can save some to share later, too.
Not only will you and your friends walk away from the truffle-making party with an evening of great memories, but you'll also have learned a new skill that you can use to impress others for years to come.
If you can see yourself preparing an army of ganaches and pralines, and you know your friends could easily imagine the same scene, you are a great candidate for hosting a truffle-making party.
So what are you waiting for? Let's plan a truffle-making party today!
